You can be assured that Plant Buddies is focused on being as sustainable as possible in every aspect of our business. Here are some of the practices that we employ to try to be good.

CONSCIOUS RETAILERISM
We advocate for conscious consumerism but we don’t expect it to all to be on you. We work as a conscious company too. We design high quality, plastic free, long lasting products. We make all of our products in New Zealand and pay our makers fairly. 

PLASTIC FREE SHIPPING
We always ship to you 100% plastic free. Everything we pack in is either reused, reusable, recyclable or compostable. We use one, dedicated courier company instead of getting multiple different couriers to arrive each day. We have built a relationship with that company and pack to a specific pick up time in order for our courier to pick up in bulk and have fewer trips in a week, therefore reducing traffic.

OUR WASTE
Every shred of soft plastics we receive is collected and sent off for recycling. We reuse boxes and packaging where possible before recycling, and we have a commercial compost bin for anything and everything that we can’t compost ourselves.
